This is one of the most ambitious pieces we have printed, nine color runs and a size of 26″x34″ makes this print a very special piece. This image is part of a offset poster Melanie designed for her immigration poster that was one of five for the TIGRA conference on migration rights in Mexico City in 2008. The poster deals with the issue the queer families and how they are not covered by family reunification laws in most countries around the world. The poster illustrates two families one with two mother and another with two fathers. We decided to make a print of the two mothers with their baby for the Manifest Equality exhibit last month in Los Angeles.
