This week me and my friend jose took a week off to help out some friends of ours who run Third World Majority. They were running the 3rd Tell it Like it is, a video making workshop where organizers from around the contry come to learn how to create short digital stories. This year the training focused on three main issues: Immigrant Rights, Reproductive Justice, and Queer/Trans Justice and was held on the UC Berkeley campus.

Me and Jose set up the computer lab for the training, setting up about 20 computers and the network that connected all the computers and backed up everyones files to make sure that no ones information was lost.

The workshop lasted a week and it was a very productive, there were about 20 participants and each group was able to produce a short digital story. There was even enough time to create a short video about how through Media Justice we can end the Zombie effect that the media has on the people. At the end of the week there was a screening at the California theater.
