Just like the holidays, Dignidad Rebelde and La Cultura Cura Arts Cafe have a way of bringing family and friends together. Please join us for this special holiday celebration at: 2289 International Blvd. Oakland, CA Sunday, December 13, 2015 from 12:00pm-5:00pm. There will be plenty of art and coffee to buy for your loved ones!

Delicious coffee will be available to purchase as gifts. The cafe is a social enterprise of Communities United for Restorative Justice which will employ and empower systems impacted youth and young adults. They have will be reestablished old Indigenous trade routes by purchasing 100% organic coffee beans directly from our Mayan relatives in Chiapas. They plan to train and employ formerly incarcerated adults and youth, and provide a community building. They envision a community space that contributes to the positive economic development of the Fruitvale district, that benefits the long term residents of Oakland, and responds to gentrification in a meaningful and thoughtful way. The vision is to build a beautiful and inviting cafe, ice cream parlor, smoothie bar, bookstore, and performance space that will be a vibrant gathering space for our youth and the community.
