MECHa de Standford is hosting their 25th Annual Raza Day, where they host students, parents, and educators from all over the Bay area for an all day conference meant to inspire high school students, especially those who have been marginalized, to pursue higher education and social justice causes.
The official Raza Day: Somo Semillas Artwork of 2015 is designed by Dignidad Rebelde. The conference will be using this design on their t-shirts that will be given out to the first 300 students!

We will also be facilitating two screenprinting workshops during the conference as well as participating in a panel about our work with several other artists including fellow Dignidad Rebelde co-founder Jesus Barraza, Chucha MarquezCrystal Galindo and Favianna Rodriguez . There are many other amazing activists and organizers speaking and participating in the workshops. Check out the link below for more info.

So if you wish to take a workshop with us to learn screenprinting, hear us speak about our art, and receive a t-shirt, please register now! Spots are filling up fast!

This year’s conference will be hosted at Stanford University on Saturday, April 11th. The conference is entirely FREE with light breakfast and lunch provided.

They  can only guarantee room and food for 350 students, so make sure to register to secure spot!
