I was asked to work on the poster for the Nakba 60 event coming up in may, the Nakba - 60 marks the 60th anniversary of the occupation of Palestine by Israel. I was very honored to be asked, as a Xicano artist to create the poster and postcard for the event. I have created many pieces that were in solidarity with Palestinian self determination. It makes me happy to know that the artwork has been seen by the Palestinian community and has been liked enough to ask me to be part of this event.-jesus

We are planning a very special FREE outdoor, day-long Peace and Palestine Solidarity Festival - with an amazing program of Palestinian and other musicians for peace and justice.
The FREE outdoor festival will be held at the Civic Center in downtown San Francisco, May 10th, 2008.
Join us for a day of music, special performers, youth programs including a mural project, spoken word and other cultural activities.
Come see the Nakba tents with artwork and survivors from ‘48, where attendees can learn about the tragedy and listen to Palestinian and Native American elders recount their experiences.
